Franklin Lakes Townhouse
Project managed under principal designer Danielle Palmadessa

These empty nesters loved their neighborhood but were ready to downsize from their large scale home. Luckily there was a brand new development being built on a former golf course not far from their house. They were not happy however with the cookie cutter nature of the development and asked DRP to help from the construction phase of their new town home.

The family wanted a simple and neutral home with a kind of eclectic and natural vibe. They also wanted to keep their large art/photography collection in mind to use throughout the house. While we wanted to keep the design simple and easy going, we did add several custom details to the house from the ceiling beams, shiplap double sided fireplace, and kitchen table to the large scale built-in in the husband's office.
